While our base elopement package provides a complete foundation—including the venue and basic decor—we offer various “add-on” options to suit your style. Whether you want to upgrade your floral arrangements, extend the photography time, or add a specialized menu for your guests, our on-site coordinators will work with you to tailor the experience to your specific vision.

Yes, we offer beautiful on-site accommodation options that can be added to your elopement package. While accommodation is not included in the standard base price, we highly recommend our specialized suites to make your wedding day more relaxed and memorable.

  • The Main Honeymoon Suite: This is our premier, spacious suite designed specifically with the bride in mind. It offers plenty of room for the bride and her bridesmaids to get dressed and enjoy those “pre-wedding” moments together.

  • The Secondary Suite: We also offer a smaller, intimate honeymoon suite that provides a perfect, private space for the groom to prepare for the ceremony.

We always have a “Plan B” ready. One of the advantages of choosing an established venue like Thabong is our versatility. If the weather doesn’t cooperate for a garden ceremony, we can seamlessly move your elopement into one of our beautiful indoor spaces or our thatch-roofed chapel. Our team monitors the weather closely on the day of the event and can make the transition quickly, ensuring your ceremony remains dry, intimate, and beautiful regardless of the Gauteng weather.

To ensure your special day is reserved exclusively for you, we have a simple and transparent booking process:

  • Securing Your Date: A non-refundable booking deposit of R10,000 is required to secure your chosen date and our Elopement Package. Once this deposit is received, your date is officially locked into the Thabong Wedding Venue calendar.

  • Final Payment: We want your wedding day to be entirely stress-free. To ensure all logistics and services are finalized, the full balance must be settled before the wedding date.

  • Flexible Planning: Our team will provide a clear invoice and timeline upon booking so you can plan your budget with confidence.
